Heidi Dodd

HEIDI E. DODD,  owner of Harter, Larson & Dodd in Belleville, Illinois, practices law in the areas of elder law, estate planning, probate, guardianships, trust administration, Medicaid planning, asset preservation, Veteran’s benefits, and real estate. Ms. Dodd is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to entering into private practice, Ms. Dodd served as Assistant General Counsel for the Illinois Department on Aging.

Ms. Dodd serves on the boards for the Southwestern Illinois Visiting Nurses Association, The Esquiline: A Life Plan Community at the Shrine, and the Mascoutah Senior Center.  Heidi Dodd is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), acted as president for the Illinois Chapter of NAELA during 2013-2014, currently co-chairs the legislative committee, and received the chapter member of the year recognition for 2014. Ms. Dodd along with her partner Ms. Larson mostly recently received the 2018 Legacy Celebration Award.

Heidi Dodd received her B.S. from Southern Illinois University, M.A. from the University of Illinois, J.D. from University of Tulsa, and is licensed to practice law in Illinois. Ms. Dodd is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and St. Clair County Bar Association.
